Privacy policy
Last updated July 14, 2026
Short version: AideyHD has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. Your data stays on your device.
What the app stores
Your schedule, check-ins, moods, meals, exercise, budget entries, sleep, notes, and people you add. All of it is stored locally on your device, in the app's own database.
What leaves your device
Nothing, unless you choose it:
- iCloud sync is off by default. If you turn it on, your data syncs between your devices through your own iCloud account, under Apple's privacy terms. It never passes through any server of ours — there isn't one.
- Export is user-initiated. The CSV or JSON file goes wherever you send it.
- Feedback is an email you write and send yourself.
What the app doesn't do
- No account or sign-up.
- No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
- No selling or sharing of data. There is nothing to sell.
Permissions the app may ask for
- Notifications — for block reminders and check-in prompts. Optional.
- Face ID / Touch ID — only if you turn on the app lock. Biometrics are handled by the system; the app never sees them.
- Microphone and speech recognition — only when you tap the dictation button. Recognition runs on-device where the system supports it.
- Apple Health — only if you connect it. AideyHD reads your sleep data to show how sleep and your days relate. It is read-only: the app never writes anything to Health, and your health data never leaves your device or is shared with anyone. You can disconnect it any time in Settings or in the Health app.
Tips
The optional tip jar uses Apple's in-app purchase system. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple; the app never sees them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Since the app collects nothing, changes should be rare and boring.
